I'd like to go test drive an RS7 and see what that experience is like.

Love this car car and if a tune fixes this low speed throttle response situation then I will go get that done asap.
I'm tuned AND have had it adapated and I still get that delay. I think that's just inherent to our transmission.

Picked up my car last Saturday, still drives the same even after the software update. Mine is a 16MY as well.

How many miles do you have? One of the techs told me that pretty much as the clutch wears it will eventually have to be adapted to make the now worn down clutch smoother?

So maybe there is a mileage factor at play?

All voodoo magic with these modern cars.

it makes sense that it wears down

is this covered under b2b warranty? Or are people paying for this?

It's covered under warranty. They usually have some note like "customer claims transmission shifts poorly. i.e- it's slow or it's rough
