Crazy annoying beep warning me a car is in my blind spot
Dumb question but I can't find this in the manual or via menu.
Is there a way I can get the flashing triangle telling me that someone is in the blind spot without the audible warning? I hate it when there is someone in my blind spot that I'm fully aware of but just am putting on the signal early...and BEEEEEEP. Yes car, I know, that's why I didn't star immediately turning into the lane.
Can I half disable the system?

I have actually found the noise so disruptive (and confusing, seeing as the distance alert for the car in front of you is the same), that I've disabled it altogether.
I've returned to the long-lost art of looking in your mirror/over shoulder PRIOR to signaling a lane change.
It's a major design flaw in my opinion. Hopefully they'll address it in the W213.

I find this very obnoxious as well for the same reason, most drivers in south FL are terrible so I prefer to signal to the retard riding in my blind spot that I would like to change lanes, so he can move up or slow down and give me space. I get the warning beep at me anyway for me trying to be nice. I haven't looked at the coding but I don't believe there is a way to disable the audible warning only.
