went to a dark side completely!
If he only competed in 1/8 mile races it would be even more unfair.
I sometimes feel like I'm driving a dinosaur of a car...but it's a fun dinosaur.

I've watched the Tesla Racing Channel Guy take on built GTRs and cars with slicks and he'll still get them right off the line no matter the launch. It all comes down to "is there enough time for them to catch him"
If it was a 1/2 mile event or something he'd obviously be hosed. But man, Teslas have got to be the king of the stoplight race.

The best video is when the track marshall asks him about his lack of a fire suit since he was in the 10s. He responded that the car has no gasoline in it. Funny situation.

that tesla 6.7 1/8th trap is 101.99 the gtr 4.5 1/8th trap is 169
bye bye telsa
P100d is basically same as audi rs7 stage 2 in 60ft and 1/8 times.... fast, but definitely a lot faster cars out there on the street than that

Tesla pd100 is faster from 0-60 than any other car on this planet in stock form , so I would say Tesla is king of the stop lights,
60ft and 1/8th mile times are good proximation of stoplight/street racing and as i mentioned before fastest telsa (on prepped track ) is 1.54 60ft/ 6.70 1/8th
fastest RS7 (prepped track also so apples to apples) on regular street tires runs basically identical times and RS7 is no where close to king of stop light/ street racing as tuned/ modded 911 turbos (on street tires) are even faster 60ft/ 1/8th .... if they run tire like R888's they launch even faster and many people on the street do run r888s (i ran them on my c63 and e55 both as daily drivers)
there's no doubt tesla's are quick for sure, but they arent the fastest
Tesla has it's perks being electric, efficient, and yeah it's a winner for 99% of people at traffic lights. But it will never be able to reign supreme.
yes sir...they are snappingthe AWD drive shafts months ago due to the supercharged 6.2 engine power but I heard that has been fixed now. Between the Jeep Trackhawk, the 9 second factory Dodge Challenger DEMON and now the SRT durango Mopar is making alot of power accessible to folks for a relatively cheap price.
gotta love being a car guy right now.
