E63 vs GTR
but currently have evo10 for my son that I rarely drive . TOO noisy
and E63 for daily driving
had two GTR in the past
the E 63 is a great daily driver car , if you have a long commute the GTR beats you up because of the run flat tires
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

I've owned the car (used with 27k miles) for 2.5 months and I've been to the dealer no joke 4 times trying to get small, niggling things fixed. The engine is stout as always, but I've been kind of appalled by the overall quality of this car.
If I'm honest, I bought this car 85% because of the sound and because it's a wagon. If I didn't care about that, I'd probably have either the BMW or RS7 (or Panamera if my vision started getting worse since it's ugly as sin) with an exhaust.
The basic interfaces just feel a bit dated in the E63 compared to the competition, but no doubt that's fixed in the 2018.
The C300 loaner I have right now has a significantly better transmission (dual clutch) than my speedshift 7 speed FWIW.
Seems like it would be a nice car to own, I mean it really is in a class of its own a GTR is a GTR , our cars have all the eclass models behind it , M5 has all the 5 series behind it , same for Audi and forget Dodge I can't keep up , scat packs , Rt, Hell Cat , now Demon and I know I forgot a few all makes these cars belly buttons everybody's got one
I understand it's really not a daily driver but it would be a great weekend car
