Hi guys,

I am getting ready to ship my ECU out to Eurocharged (2012 biturbo) and pulled the ECU last night and noticed the ECU is screwed together. I thought people were saying it is riveted together and that is how the dealer could inspect it visually for being tampered with?


I was just surprised how easy it looks to be to open.

 

There is probably a tab in there that gets flipped or pushed when you open it to let them know it has been opened.

 

Also a silicone seal that will pull apart I think to prove it was opened

 

I got it back and it looked the same, except it's much faster
