Ha! Only if you look really close, so don't.

I'm really happy with how it turned out. Suspension feels great and the way the wheels fit is just the look I was hoping to achieve. When the P Zeros are done, I hope that Michelin has the PS4S available in these sizes.

On a side note, RIP Chris Cornell.

Marc! Yup. Try to use the same user name so I don't get confused when trying to log in to forums I haven't checked in to for a while.

Followed you to BMWs now to MBs. Still have the P-Car?

I'd hug you if I could for the fact you put on some BBS wheels instead of Vossen/HRE's - not that there's anything wrong with those wheels, but I just tend to prefer sportier styles

Perfecto! Mind sharing what part numbers you used for the H.A.S. springs? I've checked with a few places but no one seems to have a line on exactly what to use. How's the ride quality now? Looks KILLER!

Why thank you very much. P/N is 25325071. Mine took a few weeks to come in from Germany.

Ride is great. I dropped about 30mm in the front and 10mm in the rear and find it rears very much like stock as far as highway/DD comfort, and well planted when pushed. I haven't noticed similar bouch as felt on other vehicles with just spring swapped and not putting matched or heavy duty shocks.

Perfect photos and perfect taste!

would you mind sharing your satisfaction with those wheels in regards to unsprung weight and compare Michelin PSS vs. Pirelli P Zero?

Thank you.

To be honest, I haven't found a very noticeable difference in handing due to at weight difference with the wheels. Not even sure what the weight difference is for the wheels alone vs stock.

As for the tires, currently running the stick P Zero on the LM-R and don't like them at all. They handle fairly well but find them rough and noisy. The MPSS in the 20" were far better as far as ride comfort. Waiting for Michelin to make a summer time in stock sizes.

Thanks. I will be replacing P Zero for MPSS too.
As for the wheels weight difference, I will be replacing the stock wheels with OZ.
Forged stock AMG 19" are around 28lbs (13Kg) while OZ HyperGT HLT are around 22lbs (10Kg).

Btw. Beautiful photos Martin, I have started following you on Flickr and found out you are using Fuji X-T2. Although I am a Canon an myself, I like Fuji.

Thanks Jan. I was a Nikon FF user and then tried out the X-T1 and really fell in love with it. Quality of pics and just the fun using it sold me on selling all my Nikon gear. I found I'd often take my Sony RX100 instead of my Nikon.

I since bought the X-T2 and have struggled with its sharpening or should I say the ability to sharpen in LR. But that's getting to pixel peeping though decided to go and return to the Nikon FF but keeping the Fuji primes. I considered Canon and still might if I can't resolve the focus issue with my new D750 and 24-70 f2.8. I went back to Nikon as I had a few remaining accessories and was familiar but have no objections switching.

So did the 20" wheels bend quickly? I heard and have experienced that myself on my lowered E63 wagon. I have a set of almost new ADV1 wheels sitting that I don't want to put on the car.

I didn't have any issues with the 20" wheels, though I only ran them for a couple of weeks. With a good strong wheel, one should be fine provided you do drive carefully.

I swapped back to 19" since I wanted to go with more of a meaty tire look and the 20" sizes did not provide quite what I wanted to go with.

Awesome. I'm still (impatiently) waiting on my springs to come in from Germany. By chance do you know what your FTG is? Also, what end links did you end up using at the rear?
