loose cable clip?

just noticed this clip hanging from below the passenger side rear bumper on my wagon today. anyone know where it is supposed to clip?

I'm sorry I'm not sure what it's for but I find it amazing something unplugged on this car and no dash light .

Do you have parking sensors? If not, maybe where they would connect if you Did?

i guess it is hard to tell from the pic, but nothing is actually disconnected hence no warnings...

it was fastened somewhere in there and came loose

Is the harness caped off
if it is then it must be for an option you don't have. If it is an open plug I am sure it needs to be plugged into something. I don't think MB would have an exposed harness with out having it capped off for future options.
Where is it on the car. Right Rear

it looks like it is supposed to be clipped ONTO something not INTO...the squarish clip is u-shaped (you can't tell from the pic) opposite the wires...it was secured onto the narrow edge of something but popped off

i sent a pic to my dealer...awaiting a response.
