Peter - I had the adaptation done and a tune, and I 100% still have the lag both at 0 mph when I stomp on it, and if I leave it in gear and slow down to 5mph and floor it. I have a 14 though, so posssibly that makes it worse.
The car is smoother through gears at any speed and way less jerky through parking lots...but the lag is real.

I have a 14 If I go to drive it goes foward and then stop go to reverse it goes in reverse when I let off the break it moves just like any other car I drove in my life, now if I'm in a rush reversing at a faster speed then go right back to drive I do have a delay before it actually shifts and moves there definitely is a slowness there compared to other trannies I drove

I came from a manual, so I kind of just imagine what I would do if I were actually operating the clutch and pretty much the car does what I would expect. i.e- if you're in eco mode and the car fires itself back up at a stoplight...if you immediately give it gas, it slips the clutch because it's not ready to engage yet etc.
Do I love the transmission? nah. It's faster than I would be though doing it myself though

have you driven dct on any other car?
mct and dct they are the same in start rolling, they won't roll unless you press the throttle.
i experienced this in 4 different cars
BMW M5 , Mercedes sl63 , Nissan gtr , Porsche carrera s 991
so don't worry at all its normal with these transmissions

Correct Peter
My car would not roll at all when in D/R had to gas it to go.
Now she rolls.. I love this car again once more...
But I am leaning to think I was low on trans fluid as my sheet show ATF was added.
So I think the two added to my mess but now.. O I love my Sunday morning WOT.
I now have BMC installed thinking of a tune for my Bday.

Let the car fully warm up before do anything and then put it in gear see if it moves..if it does I think you are low in Fluid. As it warms up the fluid expand and trans function is normal. when cold you need to give it gas...Is this only when the car is cold.....
Any case have them do the wet Clutch adaption and check cfluid level ...
