front axels replacement
@37k 2014 63s
When backing up tight right I get a binding and a clunk the front of the car shift a bit driver side . When going forward tight left same thing passenger side first I thought it was twig or something on the floor make the car slide..This is all at idle and only when cold.. if the car is rolled a bit nothing.. only first first tight turn out in the morning.
I am thinking its the axles binding up, booth are not damage. I have no other issues of clicking or vibration at any speed...

will dealer cover the axles if the booths are not damage
A friend said if the booths are not broken they will not cover them. Booths are perfect its just the binding not clicking like CV in Front wheel drive cars.

Yes Peter, I am on PZeros new 1500 miles
Why the shift in the front end after the bang. The car act as if the front end has shifted. At first I thought I had twigs in the driveway and on the street and I am running them over and that was the cause. I was at the bank and backing out where I then noticed it for the firs time backing up and seem to be driver's side..
I am taking her in for a new battery and they will take a look at it on Friday.

you need all seasons; it's not the front end ... just the tires are too cold ... and not safe to drive on therefore

temps are in the teens in NYC
I think the P Zeros are ok up to like 40 deg...
I did notice WOT I was slipping in 3rd gear...Again tires not getting traction.
I will have MB take a look when I take her in...
battery died. I thought I had it on the trickle but did not have it plugged in
next time around it will be AS tires for sure..
I am eyeing the E coupe.. the new 4.0 seem to be really good and now the ANG 53 series..
