Bank One all cylinder misfiring
Hi, please advise. I have a 2011 E63 AMG with 45K miles. I got errormessage on my Star diagnostic 1200; 0629; 0633;0641; 0653; 0645. I have interchanged Bank One ignition coils, spark plugs replace intake and exhaust camshaft sensor, to Bank two, still no change. Check MAP sensors and are in working conditions. I have interchanged the magnetic valves and no improvements. I am hoping that someone in this Forum can give me some advise. Thank you in advance.

Camshaft wear could be at fault
Those motor have issues with the camshaft. My 211 had no issues at 80k but lots talk about camshaft failing. It was reason enough for me to move away from that 211... which I really enjoyed.
How about injectors, or MAYBE that intake leak. I had to change my intake gasket, which was showing Rich/Lean during cold weather.

i changed my 02 sensors primary when i had misfires in one bank.
sounds crazy but worked.
I changed everything but ended up being 02 sensors, if it is an M156 engine then its most likely to be 02's if it is m157 then sorry for wasting your time.

cylinder misfiring
Thank you for your advise. Did you change only the primary oxygen sensor of bank one? Before purchasing the primary oxygen sensor what if I interchange primary oxygen sensor of bank one and bank two and observe if any difference.

I didnt try swapping, i changed coils, sparkplugs and everything, checked injectors ECU had the whole car sused and even done compression testing, checked fuel pump.
I read on the m156 c63 amg forums the 02 primary causing missfires so i decided to just change them, i changed them and since the CEL gone no misfires.
Generally you cant just change one you need to replace both, check your CATS to see if they are clogged, check your ECU tune to make sure its not throwing to much fuel etc.
I would get Bosch primary they are quite cheap $120ish each.

Is your car the m156 engine or m157?

Still figuring out the cause of multiple cylinder misfiring bank one. I have check the camshaft timing and found no problem. I will check out the fuel pump filter and report back to you

Bank 1 all cylinders misfiring
I replaced the fuel filter thinking that it may be clogged up. There was no improvement. Now I have a spare fuel filter. Now I am thinking of removing ECU and have it checked up. Will keep you updated

Do a compression check on the motor...B1 and B2..
Pull the plugs/FP fuse ....make sure you have a strong battery....
This is easier than swapping the injectors to the other side.
Have you check Fuel Pressure with the car running unload.

The problem I discovered was a broken exhaust valve spring, bent exhaust valve, broken valve guide,,,managed to get all parts replaced. Did the job myself
