The PS4s breakaway seems much more abrupt in the wet, but grip seems comparable to the Conti (whereas wet traction on the Conti was much better than PSS)

Also, why couldnt they just call the PS4S the pss2
PSS not PS4s is what I went with.
I will expand on the cold weather traction. PSS grips off the line much better than the Conti but on lateral grip, it is definitely edgier in the cold! However I have driven the Conti in 20degree wet and not felt like I would spinout. Not so sure about how the PSS will fare

285/30-19 Conti 5P (worn, about 8/32") on OEM gray 10-spokes: 57.5lb
285/30-19 Continental ExtremeContract Sport (new) on same wheels: 56lb

Also took significantly less weight to balance. Bye bye 5P's, die screaming in a tire shredder xoxo

On coarse pavement, they mute road noise better than any tire I've had on a Benz in years.
