My 2012 E63 tag on the door shows I should be running 51psi of air, isnt that way too much? What are you guys running on your stock wheels? I have the stock 19"

My car (2016) has a wrong (maybe for an E350?) tire pressure sticker on the door where all other cars have it, but the real one for AMGs is actually inside the fuel door. Very strange, but comes from the factory like that.

And no, not 51psi. 41psi with low loads and lower speeds.

I run at 43 on Pirelli P Zero's. Commute route is full of nasty pavement, so I put a few extra PSI in the tires.

Ok, maybe I am slow...but why would you not run the poundage that is on the door tag?

Not sure if its the same on your, but door tag lists the max tire pressure while the gas cap has the recommended pressure based on speed and load. I found this strange as it's the first car I've owned that doesn't have the recommended pressure on the door sill of the drivers door.

And I'm currently running 42 front and 44 rear in my wagon with the 20" wheels. Often I have more than three and stuff in the trunk which suggests higher rear, and with the lower load rating of the 20" tires, I added 1 psi.

I do not and don't subscribe to the nitrogen in passenger cars theory.

Is 40/38 what is recommended for yours? Seems low.

I'm running 43 front and 47 rear in my car. I often break 100-120 mph and almost always have at least 3 in the car plus stroller, etc.
