new E63 S
Hi All
did AMG academy 2 days ago and had the chance to drive the new E63 at the track and lane change exercise
glad to report the following
car looked real good
car sounded good
inside is real nice
new 9 speed MCT transmission is great
engine power is amazing. One instructor stated that these cars were doing sub 3 seconds 0-60
seats are very good
I think it will be a fine car

As fast as they are I doubt they are doing sub 3 seconds for 0-60...

this is what the instructor stated ,
compared to my car E63S , it felt faster ,
do I think it is sub 3 seconds, most likely no

I THINK THE TRANSMISSION IS MUCH BETTER, REMINDED ME OF A DCT
over all felt slightly faster
I was there with my son and a friend and we all were impressed with the car.
we were joking that i need to call the GM at my dealership and order two cars

Atlanta Roadway in GA? I also did it on Friday May 19 2017. I was on Yellow team.

Loved it! Especially loved the exhaust pop sounds all the time even at low speeds. Perhaps due to so many gears.
