Speed driven exhaust
I think the car in the video also has the 200 cell catted downpipes. I have those and the car is a little bit louder than stock. But I am running the stock mufflers so I can't speak to the full combination in person.
I had the full exhaust on my 2013 E550. Not exactly the same car but not too different either for what we're talking about here. It is MUCH louder than the stock E550 exhaust. It sounds really nice. I did end up making a 'custom' exhaust with a 2012 E63 catted downpipe setup and a 2014 E63s catback, mostly because of warranty matters.
Between the stock E63 stuff on my E550 the tone is nicer from the AMG stuff, the volume us louder with the speedriven stuff. I don't know if they are using the same mufflers or not that they use on the E550.
Pricing for the E550 stuff is $2k for the catted downpipes and $3k for the catback. They frequently run 10% off and free or cheap shipping. Unsure if the AMG stuff will command a premium, but given that I can get the AMG stuff on my car without much event my guess is it shouldn't.
They're great guys to work with - busy, but they'll get back to you.

Also - the speedriven pipes themselves are 3 inches all around for the E550. The 2012 AMG downpipes are about 2.5 inches where round (some of it is oval) and the catback is 2.75 inches. These are quick approximations with a tape measure based on the items I bought.
So larger pipes + higher flow cats should in theory make more power as well.

Pretty much. It gave the exhaust a little deeper sound. No CEL (knock on wood) and when I put the windows down in the parking garage at work, and nail the throttle, you can actually hear a lot more Turbo spool. Maybe it is psychological, but it seems to feel slightly more responsive.
