Hmm..I can't see how clutches would cause that behavior. Up shifts conditions and transition shift pressures are all VB logic and actuation. Did the VB get damaged or clogged with the rebuild? Have you tried a filter and flush since the install? Stock VB?

I dont se how that would happen due to the clutches either. I figured worse case scenario it would just be harder shift even in comfort, which I was fine with. But the car is not enjoyable to drive how it is. I want to get this figured out and then decide if Im selling it or not...VB is stock, I was thinking of doing a trans flush and filter soon...Im curious if I buy a new VB or have the one in there now cleaned it would help. I dont know any aftermarket VB that is worth buying over stock.
I greatly appreciate your opinions! Any info or suggestions is fully welcomed.

Michael - Thank you very much for the video, it really shows how the trans should be and we have the same clutches. What was done to the VB, is it a new one reworked from EC, also cost?
Technician- Yes sir all new stuff. Its a local trans guy that has built a bunch of different types of trans. He has worked on a handful of our trans and a bunch of newer models trans. Really straight forward guy. Im going to do a trans flush and may be even another trans adaptation at benz. Will also talk with the trans builder. If worse case Ill either buy a stock trans or talk with Bill Rader about my current one. He is a pretty well known Porsche race car trans guy, local to me.

honestly, I would go straight to a new factory stock VB. It's pricey, but your most complete option to keep you from ****ing around back and forth. You'll have to do fluid flush and filter swap once that way.

guys, no offense but the weistec VB is vodoo - I had it done and afterwards as I rebuilt my clutches had the VB inspected by a gearbox specialist (who built custom clutches for my cars) and the VB was NOT altered in ANY way ... now I may be a single case, but I can tell you from my perspective weistec didnt do sh*** to my VB and charged a whole lot of $$$ for it plus shipiing back and forth (as I am from Germany) ... simply can't recommend! with upgraded turbos you MUST upgrade your gearbox clutches, the VB won't help. I have about 830 HP and 1380 Nm torque that runs a 5.5 seconds 100-200 kph on a 2012 CLS RWD with a few mods :-)
