Not to be rude.. but you’ve invested the money to get the car tuned so why would you downgrade the heat range from 6/7 (OEM) to BOSCH 5?!
Also the person who turned your car should have told you to upgrade your plus to a colder range.

what do you say to this? Heard now that oem plugs with stock gapping should be the best...

I couldn’t say as I’m not an expert, but I do recommend going back to OEM and seeing if that fixes your problem or try the NGK since you’re already willing to use the Bosch

is the Bosch 5 a hotter heat range or colder?

I actually had the chance to view that PDF. That NGK spark plug caused failure because it was not the right size or thread length which did not allow the plug to index properly. The NGK 97506 is the correct thread length and same size as the OEM Bosch plugs.

nice! Thanks for the all the info!
been wanting to run colder plugs for a while now..but couldn’t find one that is the same exact dimensions as the oem one...ngk 97506 it is! I Noticed different gap specs on these depending on the site...ngk.com has it spec’d @ 0.8 and autozone @0.7...I believe oem is 0.7?...I really don’t want to gap these as the oem ones are perfectly fine for me with no misfires etc...
rockauto seems to be the cheapest place to get em so I might be ordering it there
do u remember the gap of the 97506 set when u got em?
thanks!

I have yet to install mine. But after speaking with a few people they suggested .22-.25 for gapping
