Anyone willing to go to the 1/4 track?
Hey Guys,
So, i have a few buddies of mine who want to go to the 1/4 track and i figured i would post it on here as well as it would be a great way to run our cars and meet one another either stock or modded members. I def want to take my Eurocharged tune car (C43 Coupe) down the track since i just got tuned. Here are the details:
Where: Atco Dragway
When:7/30- This way we all have time to prepare for the track.
Time:We can meetup together and roll out at 9 a.m (in queens or long island)OR we can meet over their at 10:30 A.M
I will be posting this in the 204 63 amg section,205 63 amg section and the 211, section as they seem to be the most active users and those who go to the track.
Please feel free to chime in guys! More the merrier!

I took her stock and didnt do that good. 12.9 @ 107.
So def hoping for better times!

I don't have my E63 anymore, but I'll go and bring my GT3. My buddy with his twin turbo C6 corvette(making 1437 to the wheels) will be with me also testing his car.

Atco rentals are lots of fun, but did you see the forecast? It supposed to be 91 degrees and a 50% chance of rain.
I'm not sure about your cars, but my turbo car hates the heat. Another thing, be ready for a long trip being its the friday before 4th of july weekend. If it is not cancelled from rain, I hope you have fun, but I wouldn't expect great results with the temps.
Updated.... since I don't know how to read a calendar. I was thinking a month ahead 6/30 Not 7/30. Probably wont have weather on your side, but can still be fun. I'll check back.

If you guys could that would be awesome. please note that this is NOT a track rental. Just thought it would be cool for some forum members to meet up and we take our benzs to the track. Usually its like 35 bucks for 3 runs and then 10 bucks to rent a helmet. But i could be wrong. If weather permits this will still be a go. If not ill def change it.

I made 11.21 128 on stage 2 without turbo upgrade ams clutch and ams cooling system ... now big tq more spin in 1-2 gear ... i also have meth kit now i just have to put the good nozzle and comeback at the track trying to made 10...

I'm rooting for you but I don't think we've seen a turbo upgrade yet that's been more than a dyno queen.

When i buy the turbo upgrade he tell me 10.6 135+mph but im not i will make that ... at least my turbos upgrade are now ok i pull many time without problem since i rebuilt my 2 turbo by a local shop ...

What's the record for an M157 which everyone agrees as legitimate? There's the PP Performance cars in Dubai but people have doubts about that track. There's the GAD CLS which could arguably have had better surface which did 10.242 @ 144 and is about to be made even quicker, and then the NHRA approved E63 with Pure Turbos which got 147mph on one run, and has quickest ET of 10.3.
