14 E63 Wagon - Fair Value?
My local MB dealer has one that came in a few weeks ago. It's a CPO car in dark blue, black rims and two tone leather. No rear seat entertainment (thankfully) and just about everything else. Car has 30,000 miles. 1 owner car and always serviced at MB Manhattan.
They are asking $80K for the car. Any thoughts on the asking price? At first glance it seems high for a 3 yr old wagon with 30K miles. From what I've read on the boards seems like some similar cars have sole in the $70K range (take this with a grain of salt).
Any insight/thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
What it's worth to you may differ dramatically haha. That CPO could be very very important if you put a lot of miles on a car and if this is your home dealership, not paying 1200 bucks to ship a unicorny car across the country is valuable.
80k is probably too high for someone to just jump on it without consideration but it's not SO out of the ballpark you know? If they came down to 75k I think that it would move relatively quickly just due to lack of supply.
You have to decide how much 5k is worth for you because you will kick yourself if your lease expires and you can't find another wagon easily. my 2 cents

I think the $80K is a bit high, especially with 2018s about to hit and give the fact that a 2012, obviously not the same exact car, between 45-55K.
Anyway, when I went to negotiate they would only take off $500.00.
. I offered $75K and would have signed. No go. I just let it be. He kept telling me they "own it for more than $80" and couldnt go lower. Will be interesting to see how long it takes to sell. I might be completely wrong here.I think the service department at MB Manhattan is great. The sales team could use some improvement. I was able to lease my current GL with an MB control number discount from a friend at corporate, so I didnt need to negotiate.
I have until December/Jan to decide. Thanks for the info...will keep you posted.

A Morristown PA car has 9K less miles and is priced cheaper, so they can go EAD. Like I said, Manhattan MB has been known for being 1 of the least maleable dealership in the country for at least a decade now.
