burning smell from fron tire

burning smell from fron tire
I have a '13 e350. I just had my tires realigned about a month ago. For the past week I have been noticing a burning smell coming from my front tires area. Is this due to the alignment or a completely unrelated issue? Thanks.

Can you see anything hitting or dragging on the tire. Can you see any marks on the inner fender liner that look like the tires have been rubbing it or chewing through it? Are you sure that you didn't get something wedged up in the brake caliper or brake pad?

I think taking the car to a Mercedes Dealer is in order and get their service department to check the alignment and brakes.
