HI there, I am considering a W212 E63s or a new E43. They are in similar price range. The only reason I would want the new E43 is the newer drive assist technology. I drive a lot of long trips. Although I make sure I am well rested before a long drive, I had a couple of close calls due to falling asleep behind the wheel over the years. Not that I intend to use this as auto-pilot but it may come in handy at least until I find a service station for a break. I am wondering how good the Distronic and Active Lane keeping assist are on the W212 compared to the new ones. I am unable to find a direct comparison online.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
