E63S a bit too loud

Laugh it up...I know but this is a serious question.
Can my 2014 E63S be made a bit quieter? I'm an older dude and have tinnitus, my ears can ring pretty badly at times due to noise.
I didn't realize how loud the exhaust of my E63S is when I first picked it up...guess it was the excitement or it just didn't bother me at first. I upgraded from an E550 and it was very quite.
Maybe just a few dB reduction would be fine.
Thanks

The best or nothing
That’s the reason why I went with the CLS63 - it is quieter. The E63 was way too loud for my liking. I think you will be able to find threads on sound proofing in the W204 or W205 AMG section here. Good luck and let us know.

Adding an x pipe, without removing any of the other exhaust components, has worked for me in the past. I have to check if it was before or after the resonator. There was a noticeable difference in the decibel level.

This is probably the best option. You could also find someone pretty easily who'd do an even swap.

Thank you for the help, I'll look into the xpipe and / or mufflers.

No offense but you're kind of in the wrong car. These things are pretty tame from the factory when it comes to exhaust. You can definitely achieve what you want but it is very odd.

he said it in his first post --- did you miss it?

he has tinnitus. He enjoys the e63 and likely wishes he didn't have tinnitus, most people with tinnitus are miserable.
