So which one of you guys sold their "1400hp Weistec W4" E63 recently
#26
I emailed weistec and I have I asked on two separate forums for weistec or anyone with a W-4 E63 to run it on the quarter mile. I asked them to beat my car. All I got from Weistec was silence. Their numbers are BS. If they're legit they should have no problem beating my car - LA is at sea level.
As far as getting a 240 miles per hour run, it takes a lot more than big turbos. Even with methanol injection intake temperatures climb and the ECU cuts more and more power, eventually you hit what feels like a rev limiter when 100% power is cut off. That happens well before the 240 miles per hour mark. One of the reason naturally aspirated cars have better top speeds for a given horsepower - they can maintain wide open throttle for several minutes without issue.
