Harsh 4th - 3rd downshifts
anyone feel like the car isn’t revmatching properly on the 4-3 downshift? All works great, other than during downshifts. It feels so harsh that I’m worried it’ll lock up during an off ramp and potentially destabilize the car.
This happens in sport and Sport+. I don’t ever drive in comfort so I didn’t bother checking.
This happens automatically, and when driving using the paddles.
This seems to have appeared a few months ago after the dealer reset the transmission for a different issue alltogether.
Ive taken it in twice already regarding this and nothing has been done.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks
Dealer told be they don’t notice anything unusual and behavior is normal which id like to drive another e63 to compare myself.....

mine only has mildly rough downshifting when aggressively braking.
google "peterubers first service visit" and "peterubers lovely"
Might go back to Motorwerks Barrington where i bought the car and try them.
But curious which dealers (Westmont, Naperville, Hoffman Estates) are better service if you have any experiences with those? Thx

naperville did my buyback and worked aggressively to make things right for me

Reading the workshop tips for the 722.9 it appears that DAS must be used to clear and then perform the shift adaptations. Sounds like a dealer task.
