Anyone with Renntech TCU tune?

330ft time is an important measure for purpose of determining torque limitation. At this point you're well into 3rd gear and it's the first two gears where the limitations exist. Provides added information over the 60 foot.
removing all the torque limitation might not help the 60-foot a whole lot if the car is not able to hold boost while stationary. But it should definitely improve the 330-foot time if torque limitation is coming on at higher rpm which is when the engine produces the most torque, or during shifts 1-2 and 2-3.
330 foot time should be looked at in the context of the 60-foot time. If TCU update gave identical 60ft but improved a 330-foot that would indicate a reduction in the torque management somewhere in the first two gears. I don't think torque management occurs only during launch. If you log your runs you will likely see low boost in the first two gears and a much higher boost 3rd gear on.

I will say though, outside of the use of roll out, I will say the in-car devices may be better than a track accuracy wise.
Dragy allows you to input your info on their/some site to get a standardized reading. It accounts for elevation (show you right there what it is) as well.
Weather, wind and road/track surfaces are all variables that apply whether you use Dragy or go to the track

I didnt data log my most recent track run, that day I tried M mode for 1st time. The feeling of intervention right before the shift - gone completely. The 1-2 shift pulls you forward. It's how S+ ought to be.
Despite difficulty timing shifts, I had a very good feeling about that run - it turned out to be my personal best - and then the track closed for the night so I haven't been able to try it again.

Not only does Renntech claim to reduce the tq limiters but also to increase the line pressure which means more clamping force, aka high HP holding ability.
But for most of us the tq limiter removal/ decreasing is gonna be the most important part, since we can put the true power down.. I would also assume those that are putting down high TQ numbers, will strain the drivetrain more once these limiters are removed, wont be surprised to hear of broken axles, and such.

reviving this thread hoping somebody else can chime in if they have gotten this tcu tune
really want to see some convincing results. im sure we all do
for what its worth my tuner said he tried it on his car and it ruined his shifting and he had it removed. wont mention the name because this info hasnt been confirmed but I am waiting to hear a better review

My bad, you are right, Stage 1 cars are right where they should be when I look at an ET calculator. Add in driver weight and it would be a bit slower even:

Also is that calculator taking into account that AWD gets better ET than RWD?
Should also take into account wheel torque, which on stage 2 makes a big increase.

Any new TCU tune info? I have a great local tuning shop (dyno comp) here in scottsdale, az that claims they can tune the TCU. Really curious if it helps launch control not suck so bad...

Questions
Does a GLA (M133) have a TC, or MCT transmission?
Starting with a baseline of DP+tune, Would I benefit from the procedure, given that I operate the transmission in manual mode at all times. (other than a few unimpressive 'racestart' attempts)
Appreciate the input,... techtalk is sparse in gla land
