Oil level - faulty electronic dipstick

Two weeks old and with and less than 600 miles on the odometer, my 2018 e63s AMG showed excess oil (“remove excess oil”), low lovel (“add two quarts of oil”) and normal oil level reading, all within a few hours. The dealership decided the oil stick sensor was faulty and replaced it, however, as I left the Service department, the oil level was apparently a bit above max which prompted the “remove excess oil” message.

So, here’s my question: what’s the proper procedure to check the oil in my AMG which has the electronic dipstick?
Thanks,

The correct procedure seems to be: operating temperature, leveled ground, turn engine off, wait for about one minute, turn ignition switch on (not the engine) and then check the oil level using the “engine oil” submenu under “service”.
