Try running manual mode. There is less power interruption in the first two gears vs S+

There’s way too much lag in paddle response to be able to shift at a proper or consistent rpm. In fact it’s almost impossible with our crappy set up. You’d have to time the paddle press around 4K rpm to get a shift somewhere around 6k rpm. :-/

F*ck those paddles! I never get that right. I only find them useful for dropping a few gears on the highway before a pull. S+ all the way.
