Not sure which is more annoying... The tune, recessed ECU or the coolant overflow caked up all over the expansion tank?

Yea I was never about the Pops and bangs tuning but I admit I was curious, a bit on the fence. This just pushed me all the way over :-/

It's really just trying too hard IMO. Burbles sound great, an occasional pop is cool too, but letting off 30% throttle and then hearing bangs and cracks that are 50% louder than the exhaust,... seems like an AutoZone mod

Is this in any way adjustable just like bm3 or burble tune on the M5s where they can adjust how aggressive and how long the pops and bangs last. Or just turn it on and off whenever we like

What he said - great fun for limited time. Cool if it was a separate mode - driven by the transmission switch for ex, or traction control.

I had it on my Dinan S2 X5M. It would only do the snap crackle and pop in Sport/Sport+ and only on WOT when you let off.
Very conservative. Very fun. I do not want to pull up to a formal event or for business looking like an extra from "Fast and the Furious".
Time and place for everything and something like this seems to be on all the time which makes it wrong time and the wrong place all the time.

Nice, dumping fuel into the exhaust. Most tune to prevent washing down the cylinder walls with fuel. Different strokes for different folks.

No I get that, and my comment wasn't really directed at your product (because you gave him what he wanted) more at his taste and request. I hear the 4.0tt in person and it cracks and pops when its downshifting and coming down in revs from WOT and at high throttle. It seems genuine and not false. But hearing cracks and pops at 1500rpms. Just feels so synthesized, it reminds me of the F10 M5 piping exhaust noise into the cabin

It is funny my 18 year old neighbor got a burble tune for his 03 Mustang GT, it sounded alright, but then made me think "Man! Everyone's doing that now" So much to the point that it makes me want to steer clear of it. Almost like the Lambos with Lambo doors trend being played out.

I want a burble tune for my car, but not this crazy popping. I don't mind having a few pops, but mostly I want the low sounding burbling sound when I let off my gas like from my W204 C63. I guess the "burble" in burble tune means differenty than what I'd originally thought.

Exactly! The new 4.0TT in my S63 in sport+ is intoxicating good. Its a little muted in comfort with the exhaust option on, but still retains class until you bring up the rpms. I like that you can change it on command and control the burbles, this tune doesn't seem to offer that and is an "always on" even at low rpms it seems.
