285/30R19 up front on S212 E63
I have some 19x9.5” ET35 Volk TE37 wheels coming from a friend and wanted to see how a square 285/30R19 set up looks versus a 265/35R19 square. These will be mounted with A/S to run during the fall/spring so not concerned with the rear section being smaller than stock.
I’m running KMAC strut mounted camber plates which helps with fender clearance but the stock resrs with 17.5mm spacers (effectively ET35) fit. Just barely with a few millimeters to spare. Just.
Drove around the block and no issues. Not sure if I’ll run a 285 with 2-3mm spacer and add some negative camber or just go with a 265/35 to also add some sidewall. These will be a fall/spring set and driven on gravel roads so the 265 may just be the smarter choice.

I'm looking forward to being back on 19" for everyday driving.
I think I'm going to go with some MPSS or MPS4S in 265/35R19 is the way to go. Going to look aggressive and provide the ride I need for the roads that will be driven.
Meaty enough.

Just to confirm, the two photos above show the original rear wheels (19x9.5 et52) with 17.5mm spacers and 285/30R19 tires, right? From the angle you posted there appears to be enough clearance to the strut.
How much negative camber are you running up front?

Kudos for trying something new and aggressive!
