Likely a waste of money unless you’re going the route of turbo upgrades

Thanks for the feedback, I plan on doing a tune and downpipes, so I guess I will pass on these.

I spoke to my tuner and he said they worked well and allow you to run boost more consistently. Or maybe its a longevity of the entire intake tract benefit. Still haven't pulled the trigger but haven't shut the door on these either.

Longevity isn’t a problem so no reason there and their theory of maintaining consistent boost between shifts is a mute point until someone can stop the ecu/tcu from cutting power during shifts.

I had renntech valve on my car, but together with turbo upgrade. It gives much better opportunity for tuning and helps to maintain turbos in safe condition.
I still would recommend to get them installed on stock turbos( if money is not a problem of course ) since you still higher your boost on st1 or st2 map. Another problem is, to tune correctly each gear turbo pressure with such upgrade, as there was a story with my friends ML63, that had power decrease due to “blow off” installed.

regarding tcu power cut, Few tuners (GAD, Gorilla racing)can remap tcu module to make most of the torque ( that shown on the dyno). It took them a long time to figure out how to make it.
