Disconnected battery, auto tailgate not working
I disconnected my battery for 2-3 days to do some car audio work, and as a result my tailgate will still unlatch & latch automatically but not lift or close on its own. No lift motor sound at all when I push the handle or use the driver's door button. Tailgate can be opened & closed manually no problem.
From my research and using MB II code reader, it seems that my tailgate may need a "hard reset"? Is this the case and if so, can I do it myself i.e., without Star diagnostics?
