Intro: | E63 S AMG 4matic
Hey guys, thought id finally join the forums after all this time.
Been a BMW and M guy for the past decade.. owed a E92 335i back in 2007, a E90 M sport LCI 335i back in 2010, both heavily modified and quick little cars. Really liked them but wanted something more well rounded out of the box and with more room.
I then moved up to a E60 M5 Evolve and eventuri modified which was a very very fun car with amazing top end power band, 200mph out the box, and of course that V10 exhaust note which is to die for.
The SMG trans was all about going fast and racing. So around town it was pretty annoying at times, slow at partial throttle and fear of issues at every stop and go. It really was a love and hate relationship. At 50K miles, i thought it was time to let her go before the long list of issues with those cars start to haunt me. SMG, clutches, pumps, rod bearings, throttle actuators, idle actuators etc etc which are all very very expensive fixes, that bmw has raised prices on over the years. I wish i could have kept the M5 and the E63 together for longer but room in the garage was getting tight so i had to let the M5 go, but the E63 has not let me miss her at all.
I was and still am an M5board Moderator and administrator.
I currently also have a FBO F10 535i which is amazing cruiser, reliable sweet inline 6 engine, and great all around comfort.
My 2014 E63 AMG S 4matic has treated me very well since i bought her brand new from the factory with no issues at all! She is an extremely great all around car, and i plan to keep her for the long haul. I have about 14K miles on her now.
The suspension in sport or sport + is setup up very stiff on the chassis and i love that. The steering feedback in GREAT. The engine tq and sound are amazing as we all know.
The MCT i also love for its comfort around town and its very fast shifts at WOT in S+. I know people complain of the slow paddle response to shift, but that shouldnt be confused with the actually trans speed of shifting!
Here are some pics. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! And just wait until you do a simple ECU tune (like from AMS in Chicago)! It will take that car to another level! 0-60 in 3.1 to 3.2.

Welcome!
I have also spent too much time over on the M5Board.... But mainly on the E39 section.
You have 14k miles on a 1024 car? That's impressive...

Yea, its mostly a weekend car that stays mostly in the garage during bad weather, on top of me traveling alot, doesnt see much seat time otherwise.
