Had anyone ever removed this bracket and how did you do it?

Honestly I don’t even know how it works or what it’s for. Is there supposed to be a netted bag that comes with the car?

Yep. It’s on mine. I’ve seen other threads where people talk about it breaking etc... but no one actually just removing it.

I have some all weather liner mats that are meant to go flush against the trans tunnel and that things blocks it. I never use it so I thought I’d just remove it.
