Which Tune?
2016 E63S Wagon
AMS is in Chicago
Eurocharged has a location here I can drive to.
Which tune is better? Are they pretty much the same?

Here's my AMS writeup

im a big fan of using a local tuner in case of any issues; eurocharged has a great rep as does ams

Thank you.
I love local.
I love everything I've been reading here about AMS too.
Looks like a win win whichever...
Argh.
What a nice problem

I'm in Chicago too would've gone with the AMS tune but got the Eurocharged tune on sale and it was hard to beat for a third of the price. Plus I've ran the Eurocharged tune on my e55 for 100k miles now without a single issue car has 162k on it now so went back to them for my CLS63. Either company is great choice!

I am in South Bay and have an AMS tune. They do have a pseudo affiliate near Fremont called FFTECH. I had an appointment for a dyno run to test out my tune and then had engine issues (discussed in other threads). So it has been postponed. Look them up online and give them a call. They seemed pretty cool when I talked to them. They can also install any kits or parts you might buy from AMS.
These guys are the only folks that the guys in Chicago recommended in our neck of the woods.
Good Luck

I'm currently running a tune but my tuner is out of state
I'm willing to switch to AMS if I can get a dyno calibrated tune I feel like theres more hp to be had over the bench tune

Hard to give anyone an answer on which tune is BEST... Esp on this platform with such limited reviews, data and companies tuning.
Do some research on various forums with the M157, talk to each company you are interested in, ask them questions and DM members getting a first hand review.
Im new to the M157 aswell and the lack of any data on these tunes other then some dyno numbers is shocking. I couldnt even find basic stuff like boost levels each tune and members running.
