W212 E63 AMG
Smile No air from dash vents

I am a recent E63 new owner (W212 2010) - and during a road trip have found that my dash vents are no longer working. I've changed the directional options through all available and still get nothing from them.
I'm looking for suggestions or threads from people who might have had a similar issue - could it be a DIY fix ??
I don't currently have any way of reading fault codes - so am also interested in devices for this.

Thanks for any help or guidance provided to a new owner

Do you know if your blower motor is running? It's up underneath the passenger glovebox. Pretty easy to get to. Open up the area and start up your climate control to hear if it starts up.

Even easier to just open up the hood and remove the blower ducting box over the battery. Three spring clips by hand. Fire everything up and see if air comes blowing out.

Assuming the simplest...just a thought...
Could it be that the vents are simply closed?

The "wheels" on both sides of the analog clock need to be turned to open...

No air period? Blower... Defrost only? Vacuum issue.

Those are the two traditional answers for automotive HVAC
