Will this ECU work as an extra for a tune?
Hey guys so I am going to be getting an ecu flash tune pretty soon and I want to get a second ECU for them to tune. Will this one work?

I have seen this but I was looking to go with AMS since they seem to have some of the best numbers and reviews that I have seen plus I would have to probably find a local tuner to do an OBD tune and who knows how good they are.

The reason to get an OBD tune is so you DONT have to find a local tuner. It can be tuned, remotely, with the handheld device.

Cardinal the numbers have to match your ecu

The MED17.7.3- .3 being what we need to match up and 8zyl.
These ecu's are used in many, many applications.

or we could send ya a handheld that allows you to tune from home, and flash stock whenever you want. (for a lot cheaper then AMS with same or better gains)

Including the tuner for me to keep made it a slam dunk. I was on the fence too until I found out I can swap out tunes myself whenever I wanted. Not having to source a spare ECM, send them both in for cloning, etc. etc. It was all giving me a headache, because I have zero time - even though we all have the same 24h in a day
