Forged cross-spoke AMG wheels on W212

I haven’t seen any W213 (or SLS or GT) wheels on our cars. Is there a reason? Do the offsets not work well?

I cant find 19” from BBS or HRE so thinking of finding something from another AMG car. I like the GT wheels but they are staggered 19” in the front and 20”
in the rear so no-go with 4matic.

I would also be curious to know if AMG GT cross spoke staggered wheels would fit my W212 AMG.

The GT wheels are 19x9 et 61 front and 20x11 et 68 rear.

My '12 W212 is RWD, so could I run these wheels? A set came up local for a song and I love the look.

Have not tried but 20 x 11 will stick outside the wheel well.

Coincidentally, someone messaged me about fitting 19x11's at the rear of a w212. My current set up is 19x10.5 ET49 with 305/30's. No rubbing whatsoever and I am also lowered on HAS. I do BELIEVE that a 11" wide wheel can be fitted. There is a few more mm in that wheel well that can be filled. On paper (or screen in this case, lol) I think that a 11" wide wheel in ET +43/42 should do the trick. Should you wanna go with a 20" wheel, use a 25 series tire (or a rubber band). Try at your own risk!
The offset is too high for the W212. W212 offset= F +37 and R +52. You'd need some pretty thick spacers to make that work.

With that offset (+68), they will be hitting the strut and the body of the car on the inside.

Back to the original question.

The W213 E63 wheels would fit perfect in rear. Ideal fit in rear would be with 10 mm spacer. Fronts will poke 18mm more than w212 wheels so I think that is a deal breaker. Most guys max out at around 7-10 mm upfront

What about the forged 19”s off the CLS63?? Fronts are identical to ours and a few mm nicer stance in the rear. Has anyone done it? Would LOVE to see a photo of them on a W212

You mean like this?
I have since replaced the center caps with the AMG silver ones.
BUT - these are Replika wheels, not OEMs. And black, not silver.
I do like the look and are struggling which rims to use - these or OEMs (black 10 spoke).

Do you happen to recall your front offset, 35 or 45? They look like they fit pretty nicely

It's not bad, but I think I actually prefer the stock W212 wheels over those.

BBS offers two wheel models in 19" for your car and HRE offers close 100 different models in 19" for your car. If you'd like to learn more about what models they are feel free to send me an email directly so I can help you out - David@WheelsBoutique.com.

That looks nice good stuff I always wondered if they would fit. How does the car drive any rubbing ? Is it lowered ?

The answer would be no. On the rear, W212 E63 uses similar offset as w213 E63. But the front of W213 uses much lower offset than W212. Add wider tires and you can see that front is poking a bit already. So no spacers.

Folks over at the W213 forum would probably know the answer to your question.

Thanks for posting this! Was the W213 wheel/tire you mounted to the W212 the following tire setup. 265/35/20 front and 295/30/20 rear? Curious if you swapped tires on those W213 wheels to a 30 series front and 25 series rear, for example. How was the fitment and driving?

Really appreciate the help!!! I'm about to run this setup. Thanks
