Why does it take 15 minutes for the oil to heat up?

Why does it take 15 minutes for the oil to heat up?

It takes 15 minutes for the oil temp to not be blue on the screen. I'm under the assumption that I can't drive her hard until the oil is warm enough. Does it usually take this long?

Mine does this as well, during winters it's possible that it never gets out of "blue". In my opinion you are ok above ~130 the oil is moving around fine at that point.
