Vibraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaations
Hey guys new here.
Had my E63s RWD for about 2 months now.
I will not ask about the random airmatic malfunction message that comes on between weeks (starting to feel like my car has "that time of the month"). Have learnt to just click the OK and get on with life.
Car is lowered on KW HAS front and lowering links rear.
Have also a set of K-MAC adjustable caster and camber bushings installed and dialed in properly on a Hunter wheel alignment machine.
Car tracks straight and is great fun. However notice the following
1) Left fast sweepers (say about 60-70mph?), theres vibration through the steering. Not throwing me off the lines but it is kindda worrying. No such issues on right sweepers.
2) Occasional vibration when moderate - hard braking. Can't seem to replicate it all the time, 1) is more consistent.
Car is on stock 19 inchers with 3 year old PZERO tyres. Front right tyres (Driver's side for your LHD dudes) seems to be very but just so slightly out of round.
Any suggestions what should I be looking at?
Bushings seems fine, its all locked after alignment is done.
At this stage I do suspect its the front right tyres but before I start throwing money into this blackhole, wondering if anyone have a similar experience?

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
Would have the rims looked at for bends and then rebalance all tires with road force balancing
the rotors may need to be replaced

Vibrations at certain speed = out of balance / out of round.
Vibrations braking = warped brakes.
Tracking straight is a good thing so not suspension related. Tires wouldn't be the culprit, at least not alone in that it would be the entire wheel/tire out of balance.
I would start by balancing your wheels again. That will either take care of the problem of the 60-70mph shakes or at least indicate you have a bent wheel which would then need repair/replace.
Also -- if you have wheel spacers (even if the are advertised as hubcentric) this can also be the issue.

Ok found out there's play in the lower control arm bushing. Isolated to most likely thats the issue.
Quick question, do they sell the lower arm bushing themselves?
I've looked around and it seems like they only sell the arm as a whole.
Did found 1 x link to the bushing though

Can this work?
