Recently having a recurring issue with all the safety control features shutting down and going into safety mode. Stop the car, shut down, open and shut door and it’s all good. Took to the dealer back in 2015 when this happened the first time and they couldn’t find anything. Happening again now. Love to hear suggestions/experiences.

You should post this in the W212 AMG forum to see if anyone else has had this problem. The W213 has a different system.

I had this problem and I read the OBD-II codes. It turned out to me my ABS wheel sensor. Does your traction control turn off too? When you say safety mode, is it limp no power mode, or just all features off mode?
