Coolant Consumption?

I seem to be getting a dash warning to add coolant about every 2 to 3 months. It seems to only need a few ounces and I cannot find any leaks of any kind. Everything looks shiny clean. I don't see any steam or anything ever either.
I don't recall either of my prior AMG's needing periodic coolant added so I'm curious if this is normal. I know that the tunes can cause a bit higher oil consumption, but I hadn't heard of any coolant consumption.
Anyway, any of you guys needing to add a bit of coolant every few months?
Thanks

It can really only go three ways:
1. Evaporation (if you have a small "air leak" (not liquid but "steam" - air with higher moisture content that air outside - leaking). You do live in a very dry climate.
2. Leak. Look for the pinkish residue. If you are truly starting to worry - add UV dye to coolant and use light to trace Has helped me in the past to find small leaks.
3. Going into cylinder and out tail pipe as steam. Means you have a real problem - minimum gasket.
in your case, with such limited consumption, almost brand new motor and warranty, I say keep on driving until problem shows itself more materially.
That said - since you DID have a new motor installed, I feel it's about 90% that one of the clamps somewhere is not 100% and you have a tiny leak.... Look for pink. Or go UV route.
