Car at Dealer for Random Messages (radar related)
2014 e63s still under extended warranty....
So I have now for the second time received error messages on the dash. The previous time, they all cleared themselves before I could get the car to the dealer. This time I took pictures and have the car at the dealer to diagnose. I have searched and found many others with a variety of MB platforms that have had these issues, but it is unclear as to the real issue as often people have it happen again after sensors and other parts have been swapped. I am hoping to get some more guided information from folks that have already dealt with this problem and have an understanding of electrical systems.
Here are the error messages:
Quick Update: They have ordered a Chassis Gateway that connects all of the systems mentioned.....Should know by end of day tomorrow....

- Pre Safe Functions Limited
- Active Lane Keeping Assist Inoperative
- Adaptive Highbeam Assist Inoperative
- DTR+: Steering Assist Inoperative

Great idea, thanks. That said, I don't think that is the issue as the car is very clean. Put differently if the amount of dirt on the windshield or sensors is the issue, then there is a serious system design issue. I am still waiting on the dealer, but from what I have read on the web re this issue, I not expecting a logical or real answer.

In heavy snow I get these messages a lot ... the wipers actually clear the cameras for distro and this may be a harness issue or a relay issue
