i purchased these VRP intakes on eBay from one of their distributors Lightningdiscount and wasnt aware they do not fit the w212/M157 cars since the eBay seller listed that they work for M278/M157 but the VRP site says only M278 which I should have checked first with. I've been in a annoying 2 month haggle with the ebay seller (lightningdiscount) who declined my request for refund and closed my ebay return request. they told me if i reversed my negative review they would refund my money if i also returned the product which i did so now they have the lousy intakes plus by 350 and are still giving me the run around that they cant issue the refund to me.
I know they're not VRP but being one of your distributors i thought you might want to be aware of their (lack) of customer service and mis-representation of your product where *they* (not VRP) is stating it a directly fit for a w212/M157 which it actually not fit unless you cut/alter the intake and modify how it attaches to the vehicle.
last time i buy aftermarket parts on eBay

It’s not ebay. Likely the seller thought he sold you the correct item and that is how it was probably marketed to them. Only after complaints did VRP likely change their own website....and that kinda unfolded across many threads on intake tubes (you know, the spam)
Now, that seller on eBay didn’t do themselves any favors. I’d never reverse a negative review and I would send that ask for a bribe to eBay service. I’m the guy, clearly, that lets everyone know that the “insert vendor here” is bad regardless of others experiences. I’ve learned to pay for good service and always regret when I don’t.
