Misfires - what brand of gas do you use?

Curious what brand of fuel you guys are using or prefer with your E63S?

I’m in Chicago and we have 93 octane here. Whenever I use Shell or BP fuel 93 octane my car seems to run perfect and no issues or misfires....have used Mobile 93 octane a few times (from the same Mobile gas station) and have experienced a couple random misfires when doing a hard acceleration from like 50 to 80+ (I can clear the codes and car then drives fine). I typically just drive off the remains Mobile fuel to nearly empty tank and do a full refill with Shell and then it’s fine again, no issues with any WOT accelerations.

I’m sure Mobile fuels are fine and Ive not had any issues with it under normal driving, but so far my car seems to run better with Shell or BP but curious for any feedback here. Thx. J

Try a different mobil station maybe.. I use mobil and its been good to me always.
only real difference between all these stations is the additives they add. Might be time for new plugs or dial boost back?

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
I also use..

A quality fuel additive about once a month...and even though it's probably psychological, I buy some non ethanol gas very once in a while..

Very jealous at your guys in US.

In Vancouver, B.C., we have 94 OCT. But the quality is only equivalent to 91 Oct in US.
Chevron 94 OCT 0% ethanol runs very poor!! But Shell 91 V-Power Nitro runs better.

5soko - i think you're right that it could be specific to that Mobil filling station as the issue happens after visiting that same Mobile out in the Chicago burbs (Naperville) when i go visit family out there...

Peter - the shell 93 has been no issues ever and i just put a full tank in and all is good and car feels super strong again. my dashcommand app is also showing slightly better HP numbers with the shell 93 compared to the Mobile from that one station which perhaps has some additives in their fuel which my car doesnt seem to like (its the Mobile gas station on Naperville road and Odgen - never using them again!!!)

appreciate everyone's input... thx crew

I think this was proven false
94 here is 94 there

I run 94 Petro Canada and 91 Shell when I can't find a Petro.

I use 93 non-Ethanol. Sometimes when I track the car, I'll throw a can of VP MS 109 for a secret edge. Runs like a bat outta hell!!

Man gonna ask a dumb question probably, but what fuel is ms 109 and how do I get some of that in Chicago??? Do you have to tune for it?

Bat outta hell factor sounds awesome.
