Worth repairing W212 E63 Wagon Stock 10 Spokes?
Hey guys,
I sold my wagon but I still have the factory wheels. I hit curb and one of the wheels bent. Curious what you all thought would be the best approach here. Options:
1) Throw away the bent wheel and part out the remaining 3 to whoever needs them
2) Have a reputable place fix the bent wheel and sell the set to someone
3) Fix up the whole set and powercoat everything so it's super clean
I've never been a stock wheel guy but I can see that others out there might be, so curious what you'd do!
I have the standard 10 spokes. Not the fancy black ones where you paid like 2k more for powdercoating.

Fair question - it's kind of stuffed in the back of my garage now, but I'll snap a pic later.
I feel like I'm going to be charged minimum 250 to straighten it, so I'm skeptical that there is an ROI here plus all the headache of dealing with it you know? Dealers charge something silly like 5k for a set of 4 wheels but I'm sure on the aftermarket these things go for what like 300 a piece maybe? Anything more and you're getting close to aftermarket wheels that you can powdercoat orange and look awesome. (sarcasm)

I fixed my 10 spokes twice with a local wheel repair guy. Did a great job and was $100-150/wheel depending on the damage. Well worth it to me. Not sure what a set would go for but new from the dealer they are almost (over) $2k each. Insane.
