Repairing leather seat wear
Just thought I would pass along my results using a seat repair kit I ordered from Ebay, sent from Germany. My interior is Mystic Red, but they have just about every color Mercedes has ever made.
The process was quite easy. There are no directions provided in the box when the product comes and everything is in German. However, English instructions are on the Ebay ad. While the kit comes with materials to repair and fill the actual leather, I only used the products necessary to repair color loss. I probably should have done a better job cleaning prior and added one more coat. This is three with some conditioner applied after. All in, I am quite happy with the results.

@ACC2 It really only took about an hour's time. I think it is a darn close match. It's not perfect as the leather in the car is 5 years old and the color has darkened with time. I did clean it first. The match to the rear seats which haven't had as much use is much closer. But really splitting hairs. I am certain a professional could achieve "perfect" results but, as I said, I am happy and satisfied.
The only other thing I'd suggest is using a very fine cloth so that the texture of the application material doesn't impact how evenly the dye goes on.
Hi, I also have a Mystic Red on my 2016 e63 which has the same common issue on bolsters. Hoping to find the best products to repair before i attempt the expensive option of an upholstery shop. All seats are in great shape except the driver one of course. I purchased Colorlock cleaner and conditioner and did a good job of cleaning. I know they also have a matching color option, Anyone experienced good products? I am in Los Angeles
