anyone upgrade their grill to GT R or Panamericana style? I keep looking, but can't seem to find one that is compatible with a 2014 E63. I have used the search function on mbworld as well as just search marketplace on google and have come up with nothing good. Any help is appreciated.
i mean we all have our personal preferences but i just feel like the body lines on the older models are more sharper and less round , as the new ones are more rounded in which the vertical slats look better on vs the horizontal ones .
I have it on my 2014 sedan. The installation was a royal pain as the bumper needs to be removed (not difficult) and the grill does not fit the distronic star (i.e. I had to custom fab some mounting hardware / epoxy the distronic star to the grill as the grill's mounting tabs only fit the non-distronic star). I like the look, but probably would not do it again due to the hassle (plus my distronic star was sacrificed so I would need to buy a new one if I ever went back to the original grill).
It fits but the nose of the E63 at the top of the grill is about an inch longer than the regular E class, so the grill doesn't entirely fill up the space. However, because it is right at the top of the grill, you don't see it. Search and find the video that was posted by the guy that owns the wagon pictured above and he explains it all.
Actually, elegance grill ( older original ) is good, I think. And I have ever seen some swapped grills for 3 pointed star but those are 1or 2 horizontal lines or diamond mesh designs. Then I thought those are NOT better than older original grill, every time.
When I watched his panamericana grill, I felt something next generation design. It’s so good although I don’t like avantgarde design grills like fake of W213.

That does not look good to me. :/ Takes away some of the sportiness of the car and makes it look more... pedestrian? Cadillac? IDK the correct word for it.
I ended up purchasing from CKM and fitment is perfect. I realize i never posted a pic of mine installed.
End of day if you like it, that is all that matters and it does keep with OEM flavor. Feel free to flame me - i'm ok with it
I wanted to update mine and add a bit more show to add to the "GO" of my E63. It also looks pretty aggressive when you see that grill/star come up on you quickly from behind.
