Ignition coil Cyl 5
Car felt like it was going to stall when given gas, slow acceleration. Gave harder push and seemed better.
Then later that day, same thing and check engine cam on.
Brought to dealer and they say they replaced ignition coil Cyl 5.
haven't picked up vehicle yet. Anything special I should tell the dealership, or need to know moving forward?
Is it covered on extended warranty? 2016 E63
Also, mentioned this to a friend... he asked if these work in "Pairs"

There's nothing you really need to do at this point. I do recommend getting yourself a cheap BT OBD reader so you can pull the codes yourself with your phone. That way, you'd understand better why the dealer did what they did. In this case, it's probably documented on your work papers.

Coil packs are a weak point on this engine

I would ask if possible to replace them all...Its a stretch ..then put some fresh plugs...
Does I had looked into aftermarket coils but no look,I would think MSD would make a stock replacement.
That number 5 plug probably has built up from not firing.
