E63S W212 Pre-owned?
I'm new here and never used threads but I figured it was time to get associated with one for my new pre-owned 2014 E63S W212.
Just a few questions and sorry maybe some have been answered previously if so could you just place a link to that thread, as I've searched a bit but haven't found solid answers.
So I'm going to potentially pick up this E63S Saturday, it has 110,000kms (i'm in Canada) so that'
s roughly 68,000 miles. I heard these are solid cars, I was wondering if there is anything i should look out for buying one of these used, I plan on getting the extended warranty for 3 years. Also I noticed when driving it, it pulled to the right when accelerating hard. What could cause that? The sales guy said he'd get it checked out and fixed, and that it may be a tire balance issue. I also noticed as I left the car that there was a hiss after. He said it was the air suspension leveling the car, is the hiss normal? Other than that it seems like a good car. Do you guys think buying one with this much kms is a bad idea? i plan on keeping it for 4 years maybe 5? by then it may have 170,000 kms.. Finally is a bad idea to get a engine this old tuned ? thinking id like some more hp prob 650 hp tune. If so should I go local or just by a stage 1 Renntech tune ? I do apologize if some of these are answered, just need some quick expertise before i see the car tomorrow. Thanks again.

I am no expert on this, or any (for that matter), platform... just to quickly address one of your questions. The "hiss" you are referring to. These cars do level themselves after you have shut them off. It sounds like a quick/brief lil "psst" and done... not a slow and prolonged "hiss". Just make sure this thing doesn't have a suspension leak.

Air suspension failure you say? and standard tunes I'm guessing stuff thats been tested and out there for a while?

The car made 666bhp and 1051Nm and is just how I like it. No regrets with the tune, fortunate in being able to buy 98Ron fuel everywhere. With the S you have the advantage of having a slip diff already fitted. I can tell you these cars even stock need one.
Hope you enjoy your car. It looks a beauty.

Spend some time digging through the forum and you’ll see where the failures start to happen, should give a good idea of what these cars can handle and where to put your $$.
If you get E85 in Canada I'd recommend the tune!

also do you or anyone do their own brakes and oil changes?
Have had the car in the stealership 2 other times for various bugs, nothing major. But keep in mind it’s been less than a year. Still - fantastic cars, no regrets so far.
