Anyone running a 100 octane tune (only - no other HW mods) on their W212/M157 and have any feedback on performance gains?
Never seen a dyno on only 100 octane tune but heard anecdotally that the 100 can produce around 640whp which is a decent bump above 600whp that you get from 93 or 91 octane tunes available from the usual tuners like (Weistec, Renntech, AMS, EC etc). thx J
My E50 EC Tune has an equivalent octane rating of ~99 octane when you blend 9 gallons of E85 with 8 gallons of 93 octane..
The car makes ~670 awhp at 18.5psi on this tune when running the blend.
Brutus - hey how are ya? Thanks for sharing that - i thought E50 was more like ms109 octane level but not so, its like 99/100 per your calculator. the E50 at 99/100 octane still produces much more power than straight 100 octane fuel which is amazing
