Transmission Flush 2011 E63

So I posted in an earlier thread that I'm new to Mercedes but I purchased a 2011 58K mile E63 a few weeks ago. I reported here there was hesitation when starting from a start and a hard down shift when coming to a quick stop. This seems to have improved after changing the oil and plugs but there's definitely a shifting issue. I can get past the majority of the harshness when I M mode. Today I decided to perform a flush and upon removing the drain plug a little over two quarts drained out. I was under the impression a quart would drain before popping the overfill cherry, another quart after. The fluid looked clean and blue and didn't have a destinct smell to it. I'm wondering if it was probably overfilled and that caused the stuttering. I took a picture of the fluid attached.

I am not so sure what you are asking. Is it possible the transmission was over/under-filled? Possible. How would you know? Drain all fluid (including the cooler) and measure. Do not forget that the procedure to refill needs appropriate temperature and vehicle leveling. Once you eliminate the ATF suspect, test operation and move on to the next likely candidate to troubleshoot. You shall start from OBD II diag for errors, resets, and/or adaptations. The color of the fluid tells nothing much, sorry. There are several brands on Approved List 236.15, all having their 'shades' of blue that change over time/mileage. Color is a distraction. Hope this helps.

I'm level for sure I put a level under the pan and I'm more heavy towards the rear slightly than the front where the overfill is located. I removed the drain plug after work today, after letting it sit all day and it drained another quart. I will keep the thread updated .. also the TQ drain plug is going to be a challenge as I'm a one-man on jack stands operation. I saw another video on YT where he removed the inlet from the cooler to the pan and sequentially drained and filled by that method. Does anyone have any feedback there? Or should I take the long route of turning the crank and peek for the TQ bolt?

The AMG SpeedShift MCT 7-Speed transmission used in W212 E63 no longer has the torque converter. Instead, it has a multi-clutch pack. Your W212 probably has 722.930 tranny, and so check relevant notes in AR27.00-P-0270W when filling. I did the transmission service several times on jack stands - no problem with proper socket to rotate the crank. Best of luck.

That's correct based on my VIN I have the MCT 7 Speed Sport Transmission. That being said, reading the guide you provided for the MCT, I don't need to rotate the crank? Also since it doesn't have the TQ more than 2L should have drained when I pulled the drain plug and released the level? I think I drained a max if 2.5L or just over two and a half quarts or so.

So changed all the ATF made sure to follow the tech guide exactly. It does shift a little better but I'm still getting hesitation at takeoff and slightly harsh downshifts. At this point I've changed the oil with LMol + Certec, changed the plugs and now flushed the ATF. Any other ideas on what can cause hesitation. I don't believe there's a vacuum leak but at this point I'm up to any suggestions.
